How to get a new job in Tampines?
If you’ve worked at an office for any length of time, you’ve probably had to take a job that pays less than you expected.
That’s why the job market is so hard.
For many workers, that’s their first job.
But that’s no longer the case.
With more jobs coming online every day, there’s more and more competition for the people that are lucky enough to have the right skills.
The challenge now is for people to learn how to work in new environments, and to adapt to a new system, with their new skills.
“It’s not the most glamorous job, but it’s the one that is right for you,” says Robyn Young, managing director of design agency Web Design Agency in Brisbane.
Young says she’s been working in a variety of roles in the industry, from marketing and communications to web development and branding, for the past 18 months.
She’s learnt a lot about working in the digital world, and is looking forward to applying her skills to work at the future headquarters of the National Rugby League.
“I’ve been working as a digital design director for the Rugby League Club of Queensland for the last two years,” she says.
“They’re hiring for new roles and that means a lot of people are looking for a fresh start.
I love that.”
There’s also the issue of being flexible.
“Most people are in their early 20s and in their 30s, so it’s easy to go to a place that they’ve never been before and they feel like they’re on a new journey,” Young says.
Young is hoping that by having her design work as a marketing specialist in the future, she can help boost recruitment in the role.
She says she’d also love to work as an architect.
“If I can be a bit more creative and help with the branding, that would be great.”
If you have more questions about the job, or are looking to get started, we’d love to hear from you.
