Why is the Minneapolis logo so boring?
Minnesotans have been searching for a new look for years, but the city is stuck with the same old logo.
For years, the city has stuck with its signature blue and white logo.
But now it’s getting its own logo, with the new design being called “Minneapolis.”
It’s a bit of a shame.
There’s no reason for Minneapolis to be so boring.
“Minneapolis was a very important city, and the city was a city built on tradition and integrity, so why would it change?” said Mark Stryk, a Minneapolis-based branding and web design firm.
“We’ve always been an independent company and we don’t need to do anything else to survive,” he said.
Stryk said he came up with the idea for the logo after seeing the logo on a local radio station, which is why he decided to design a brand new logo.
He hopes the new logo will help the city find its identity.
“When we think of Minneapolis we think about the big city.
We think of the Minneapolis Metro area.
But for some reason, it just doesn’t feel like a Minneapolis.
We feel like it’s somewhere else,” he told ABC News.
Stryak says he started brainstorming ideas when he was in college, and eventually he settled on the Minneapolis skyline.
It’s the first thing he designs.
“I just wanted to take the skyline and bring it back to the city,” he explained.
The logo will debut at the annual St. Paul Pride festival on July 11, and will be used throughout the year at the Pride events.
The logo will be available on Stryker’s website and in the city’s main marketing and advertising agency.
