Phoenix web design firm helps design for homeless, hungry students
By RAY MURPHY, Associated Press Staff ReporterAssociated Press WriterPhoenix, Arizona – Web designers in Phoenix, Utah, are helping a homeless man design a home and then sell it on the Internet.
The home is for the homeless, he said.
He has never been homeless, but he has been homeless for two years.
He had his home torn down.
He said it is now a vacant lot.
He was in the process of getting his property assessed and he needed to make a loan.
That is what happened.
The web designer said he went online and asked for help to get it approved.
His company, PhoenixWebDesign, has provided the help.
He said the man was kind and he wanted to help.
He doesn’t know if the home will sell for a profit.
He’s also homeless.
He wants to help others too.
The man who created the home is working to help homeless people with home design, and also homeless families.
They have had some success, he says.
His project includes the design of a large home for a homeless person.
It has a kitchen, living room and bathroom.
He also has a garage.
He says his clients are mostly young men.
He also helped design a kitchen for a family, and has plans for a second home for his son.
He says it has to be sustainable, as there is not much room in a home.
He’s not sure what the next step will be, he doesn’t want to rush things.
He plans to move the home and start his own business.
He doesn’t plan on going back to the street.
He hopes to be a contractor or a part-time designer or a hobbyist.
His wife and his son were in the house.
He has a business to run.
